About Carol Allen
Get to know Carol Allen
Carol Allen has a lifelong love of music and playing the clarinet. Carol began clarinet lessons at the age of 12, and studied with Julie DeRoche, and later, Don DeRoche. The hightlight of her high school years was being a member of the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra, and performing in Orchestra Hall. She is a native of Illinois and received her degree in clarinet performance from DePaul University, in Chicago. Carol is a veteran of the United States Army and currently performs with the Chesapeake Bay Wind Ensemble, and the York River Symphony Orchestra.
