Performance Experience: Florida State Competition Winner - Classical Piano Divisions, Worship Performance, Local Musician. Piano accompanist for District Solo & Ensemble students and college level students. Also performs for public and private events.
Teaching Experience: Chrissy moved to Virginia Beach after spending 8 years in Orlando directing a non-profit music studio that offered music and art instruction to the local community. She began her studies at FSU and graduated from UCF in 2010. Chrissy has been teaching piano students of all ages and abilities since 2006. She also provides to beginner and intermediate flute students.
Teaching Philosophy: Chrissy's passion is teaching and sharing the gift of music with students and their families while firmly believing that everyone has the ability to play with encouragement, support, and appropriate instruction. Though she teaches piano to students from beginner to advanced, she also teaches students who require more support, learning accommodations, and students with special needs.
