About Christopher Corey

Education: Chris is currently a student at Western Governor's University, pursing his Bachelor's in Software Development.

Performance Experience: Chris' performance experience is mostly playing in rock bands with other musicians.

Teaching Experience: Chris has taught after school programs teaching K-12 students STEM and coding fundamentals at schools around the Denver Metro Area. He currently has been teaching guitar to any age since 2018.

Teaching Philosophy: Chris' teaching philosophy follows closely how he learned to play guitar. He is self taught and values more common and applicable practices over traditional teachings. This takes the form of teaching songs that the student wants to play, learning relevant theory and ear training, self accountability in practice, and most importantly movtivation to keep the student wanting to play.
