About Cody Weinmann

Cody Weinmann is a pianist, vocalist and composer who writes and teaches many different genres of music. He is known for adapting his lessons to the student’s needs. He is well-versed in classical, jazz, and rock n roll and many other genres, making him a great and flexible teacher for a multitude of different students who have different musical interests. He has been playing piano since age 2, first by ear and then from sheet music. He has been singing since the age of five and composing since he was in his teens.

Cody graduated from California State University, San Bernardino with two degrees, the main B.A. in Music Composition, the second one was music technology in 2012. For the past eight years, Cody has taught in a variety of group and individual settings both online and in various studios throughout Southern California.

One of the main things Cody likes to do is to write and arrange music for the students that come before him, to help them develop their technique. He also likes to take the songs that other people request and arrange them to fit with a students’ level of performance. This is a sure-fire treat for the students! He actively encourages them to participate in recitals and performance opportunities regularly to help them with stage presence and performing for other people. He is great with any and all age groups from three to 65+.
