      Get to know Colin Larsen

My name is Colin Larsen, I taught orchestra for 9 years, played the cello for over 20 years, the guitar and piano for 15 years, and also perform classical, rock, and metal music live for over a decade (as a vocalist, guitarist, keyboardist, and bass player).  In addition to performing and teaching, I have a Bachelor of Arts in Music Composition (TAMU, class of 2012) and I have written music performed by the Conroe Symphony and The Woodlands Symphony, as well as my own songs for live performance.  I currently perform cello in the Music Ministry at The Woodlands Methodist Church and am the lead singer and songwriter for a heavy metal band in Houston.
As a former orchestra director, I can change strings for the violin, viola, cello, as well as most acoustic, electric, and bass guitars.  Feel free to ask me for assistance on any of my instruments!
