      Teaching Experience: Dan has taught privately for 20 years, including college-level instruction at Haywood Community College, the Hendersonville Boys and Girls Club and Traditional Music classes at the Tryon Fone Asrts Center.
      Teaching Philosophy: Dan loves to work with young beginners as well as advance level guitarist. He teaches classical , pop\rock and jazz styles. He can quickly get a new student off and running into the world of music with his enthusiasm and high energy approach. Each student will find positive instruction with book method learning and ear training. Dan will customize lessons to meet the individual students wishes and musical goals!

      I have been a full-time musician and music teacher for 20 years, including college-level instruction at Haywood Community College, beginner classes at the Hendersonville Boys and Girls Club, Traditional Music classes at the Tryon Fine Arts Center, and countless private lessons. I am comfortable teaching in many different styles, genres, and approaches as I strive to tailor my method to each student's unique goals and learning style. If the student is enjoying lessons, that will inspire learning and growing with music more than anything.
