About David Zimmerman

David Zimmerman is a guitar, ukulele, mandolin, and music theory teacher who creates fun, relaxed lessons tailored to each student’s musical interests and goals. He teaches beginner to advanced guitar as well as beginner ukulele, mandolin, and intermediate music theory, helping students build strong fundamentals before exploring personalized repertoire and styles such as pop, rock, blues, metal, bluegrass, classical, and Irish folk music. David incorporates improvisation, reading music, and theory into lessons while encouraging students to develop their own musical voice and confidence. Whether students are learning for enjoyment or preparing for college auditions, lessons are designed to support steady growth in a supportive environment. David graduated Summa Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Guitar Performance and has several years of teaching experience.
