About Delbert Boyer

Education: Been teaching guitar for over 30 yrs , Started at Taylors Music in West Chester Pa for about 5yrs , Also taught at West Chester Music . I moved on too Lincoln University as a guitar instructor for the jazz program for 4yrs . I also taught for a program called EMTAH / Education for the arts and Humanities a program that work with kids and adults that had mental health issues.i also have done private lessons at my home for 10yrs .

Performance Experience: Performed at the local Tri State venues I have performed at the West Chester Jazz festival , The Clifford Brown Jazz festival 3 years in a row . Hosted a few show at the World Cafe Queen , in Wilmington De .

Teaching Philosophy: I believe learning the guitar should be fun and informative . I teach my students the fundamentals of playing the guitar from a physical , educational and spiritual perspective .
