About Donna Simpson

Donna Davis Simpson was born in Loves Park, Illinois where she graduated from Harlem High School.  She sang in several choirs and was the accompanist for the Festival Choir.  Donna’s family helped establish a new church in Loves Park where she was the pianist at age 12.  After graduation, she traveled to South Carolina to attend Bob Jones University where she graduated with a degree in Music Education.  She met and married Mark Simpson who was also a student at the school.  They have been involved in church music ministry together throughout their years of marriage. Presently, she serves as Church organist and Choir Master at St. Matthews Episcopal Church of Spartanburg.  Donna and Mark have two adult children and five grandchildren.
