      Get to know Donnay Beito

      Donnay Beito is a dedicated woodwind specialist and passionate music educator whose love for music began at the age of ten, when she first picked up the clarinet in her small hometown in Georgia. This early spark grew into a lifelong commitment to music education and ultimately led her to Delaware, where she pursued her studies at Delaware State University. In 2025, she earned a Bachelor of Music Education with an instrumental concentration, receiving comprehensive training in woodwind pedagogy and developing proficiency in teaching clarinet, bass clarinet, flute, oboe, and alto saxophone.
      Donnay now serves as an elementary general music teacher and choir director, where she strives to enrich students’ lives through engaging and meaningful musical experiences. She is committed to fostering an environment where every child feels capable, supported, and encouraged, believing deeply that all students deserve the opportunity to learn, create, and grow through music. Donnay is devoted to helping young musicians discover their potential and develop a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
      Donnay Beito’s teaching philosophy is rooted in the power of modeling. She believes that effective instruction begins with the teacher demonstrating the skills, behaviors, and musical habits they expect from their students. Donnay maintains that if she cannot do something herself, she would never ask a student to do it, ensuring her teaching is grounded in authenticity, integrity, and shared learning.
