Get to know Douglas Parker
Douglas Parker has been teaching private piano lessons since 1989. He received a B. Mus. in Music Education in 1980 from Ohio University with a dual emphasis in piano and tuba. He received a M. Mus. in 1983, majoring in music theory and minoring in tuba performance. Mr. Parker also finished doctoral coursework at Indiana University in 1989, majoring in music theory and minoring in music composition and tuba performance. In addition to being a private music instructor, Mr. Parker is also a church organist/pianist in Kings Mountain, NC. In addition to music, he enjoys road cycling. He and his family reside in Gastonia, NC.
