About Frank Cole

Frank Cole is a brass teacher who works with beginner to advanced students on trombone, bass trombone, tuba, euphonium, and trumpet. His lessons emphasize strong fundamentals, with individualized instruction designed around each student’s unique needs, abilities, and musical goals. Frank believes that building a solid technical foundation is the key to long-term success and tailors each lesson to help students achieve their personal aspirations, whether preparing for performances, school ensembles, or personal enjoyment. Frank holds a bachelor’s degree in Music Education and a Performer’s Certificate at the master’s level. A retired U.S. Army Bands Sergeant First Class, he continues to perform with numerous ensembles throughout central and eastern North Carolina.
