Get to know George Jones
Hi! I'm George Jones and I have been teaching Drum and Percussion in the area for the last 20 years. I graduated from Howard University with a Major in Music Education and a Minor in Percussion Performance. In the past, I have worked at Tony & Joe's Seafood Place and the Occidental Restaurant here in Washington, D.C., serving as the Entertainment Director. I have performed myself over the last 40 year in and around the DC Metro area. I love all different styles of music, and encourage my students to experience all types of music as well. In my spare time, I love to fly as a private pilot. I look forward to working with you!
