About Gwyn Reynolds

Gwyn Reynolds is a cello, violin, viola, and piano teacher who creates personalized lessons tailored to each student’s age, ability, and musical interests. She teaches beginner to advanced strings and beginner to intermediate piano, using approaches such as the String Builder Series, the Suzuki Method, ear training, music reading, technique development, scales, duet playing, and performance preparation to help students build strong musical foundations. Gwyn incorporates a variety of musical styles including classical, baroque, Celtic, traditional, and fiddle music while encouraging creativity, confidence, and consistent progress. Students are guided toward recitals, orchestra participation, auditions, and personal musical goals in a supportive and structured environment. Gwyn graduated from the Eberly School of the Arts (WVU), holds a Bachelor of Arts from West Virginia University, performs in orchestras and as a soloist as a multi-instrumentalist, and has been teaching private lessons since 1990.
