About Ike

Hello,

My name is Ike Ollison, and I am a musician, music educator, and private lessons instructor. I have over 30 years experience in music with 19 years classroom experience as a music teacher at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. I am currently a high school band director and audio engineer. My musical expertise is in brass, rhythm, percussive, and a few string instruments. I also teach advanced techniques in music composition and arranging. I have an Associate's Degree from Cedar Valley College in Commercial Music - Composer, Arranger, Copyist; and studied Recording Technology as well.  I have a Bachelor's Degree from the University of North Texas, where I studied music education, composition, and arranging.  I also have a Master's Degree in Music Education from Liberty University. I currently perform with a local band called "The Perfect Blend Band" and have performed and toured with various bands in the DFW metroplex, such as After FX, Chill Factor, and the E.C. Brown Review. I look forward to teaching, learning, and building relationships with students, parents, and the Music & Arts community as I continue to embrace opportunities that allow the expansion of musical experiences.
