Get to know Jacob Wallenbrock
Jacob Wallenbrock is a California based Musician and Performer, from Fontana, CA. At the age of 10, Jacob began a musical journey where he would grow to places he never knew he could be. Starting as a Trombone player he played throughout middle school and high school where he eventually started playing euphonium and upright bass as well! At this point Jacob decided it would be fun to start learning more brass instruments along side composition too! Throughout grade school Jacob received many award for musicianship and skilled work in his playing. After he went on to obtain his AA in Music and Performing arts at Riverside City College. This is where he picked up many more instruments including Trumpet where it started his diverse career in music and composition.
Jacob has studied under many well known musicians and educators such as; James Rocillo, Charlie Richard, and Kevin Mayse. Now Jacob plays in ensembles around Southern California writing music and building his portfolio! Soon Jacob plans to take his education even farther and finish his BA at USC or UCLA, where he will study composition, performance, and education!
Jacobs love for music has no boundary and he shares that same love for education. He has future plans to help build youth performing ensembles to help reach families with children wanting to begin their musical journey. He plans to teach as long as he plays and writes plus much more!
