About James Meyer

 James is an experienced cellist and vocalist with a passion for music. He has played the cello for over 10 years, performing as part of a pit orchestra and serving as an accompanist for multiple choirs on select songs. Additionally, he has sung in several different vocal ensembles, ranging in styles from classical to contemporary pop to jazz. While studying at the University of California, Berkeley, he served as the manager of two campus a cappella groups, leading rehearsals and conducting performances.

James has been instilled with a love for music from a very young age, and he believes strongly in the power of music to enrich and transform lives. He endeavors to teach each student in ways that works best for them in order to create an informative and enjoyable lesson experience. He hopes to provide students with the same foundational and transformative love of music that he has received from musical instruction.
