About Jay Looney

Jaylin “Jay” Looney is a self-taught drummer with nearly 14 years of experience and has been working professionally for the past two years. With a passion for teaching, he has spent the last three years helping others discover the joy of playing the drums and exploring new ways of creative expression. Jay's drumming journey includes online lessons through the platform Drumeo, where he was taught and coached by world-renowned drummers, as well as in-person lessons to further develop his craft. He has had the opportunity to work with The Maggie Valley Band, Virtuous, Elevation Church’s campus worship team, through which he  collaborated with members of  Elevation Rhythm and other worship leaders at different campuses, and more.
