About Jay Williams

Jaylin “Jay” Williams is a self-taught drummer with 14 years of experience and has been working professionally for the past three years. With a passion for teaching, he has spent the last four years helping others discover the joy of playing the drums and exploring new ways of creative expression. Jay’s drumming journey includes online lessons through the platform Drumeo, where he was taught and coached by world-renowned drummers, as well as in-person lessons to further develop his craft. He has had the opportunity to work with The Maggie Valley Band, Virtuous, and Elevation Worship’s campus worship team. Additionally, he has collaborated with various worship leaders, some of whom have been involved with the GRAMMY/Dove Award-winning Elevation Worship and Elevation Rhythm.
