Teaching Philosophy:
I use the side to side drum set method as it allows student to learn through seeing and hearing the notes and sticking being used. Rudiments and sight reading are also used and taught for a complete percussion learning experience.

I am originally from Charlotte NC and graduated from UNC Charlotte as a History major. I have played professionally since 1984 and taught drums and percussion since 2006. During my playing career I have shared the stage with Eddie Money,Travis Tritt,Jan Arden and various other recording artist. I teach all ages from beginner to advanced. Look forward to seeing you.
