About John Cabana

John Cabana teaches beginner to advanced guitar and beginner to late-intermediate piano, creating structured, personalized lessons that emphasize strong technique and musical expression. His instruction focuses primarily on classical music while developing music reading, theory, and healthy playing habits that work with each student’s natural movements. John selects repertoire that addresses individual challenges, helping students become well-rounded musicians who approach new music with confidence. He encourages students to develop focus, creativity, and a deeper connection to the music they play. John has three years of teaching experience and has performed at Ark and Dove Presbyterian Church alongside Peabody musician Mark Edwards.
