About John Rodgers

John Rodgers is a classical and acoustic guitar teacher who works with students through advanced levels, creating lessons that balance strong technique with an enjoyable and encouraging learning environment. He teaches music from a wide variety of genres while tailoring lessons to each student’s interests, goals, and level of development. John focuses on helping students steadily improve their skills while playing music they genuinely enjoy, whether they are preparing for recitals, auditions, school programs, or simply learning for personal enjoyment. John studied guitar at American University and the Peabody Conservatory, has performed in master classes with world-renowned classical guitarists, and currently teaches guitar at the National Cathedral School.
