About Joe Tabris

Joseph Tabris moved to Colorado in the fall of 2020 to be with family after living in Southern California all his life.  He has over 35 years of professional teaching and playing experience helping students reach their goals in drum corps, jazz band, orchestra, and praise band.  Teaching all ages, he tailors the lessons to fit each student's abilities and skill level.  Whether for one's own interest in incorporating music into your life, or for performance improvement, or academic benefit, Joe is able to make it an enjoyable experience.  His expertise is in teaching many instruments, including piano and trumpet.   Joe, while in California, has taught in the Orange County Lutheran school system, as well as the Orange School District.  He directed The Villa Park Community Band and has been a member of numerous local big bands and orchestras.  Joe is a professional church musician experienced as Music Ministry Director, Organist, Choir Director, and in praise band on various instruments.  Joe has been seen performing with many local working groups throughout Orange County, California.  Since moving to Colorado, Joe now plays organ at his church and is in a variety of local bands.
