She also volunteered as a student teacher at Summer Music Academy in Ridgewood, NJ for several years, working with instrumental ensembles and beginner students, under the mentorship of professional instructors.
Teaching Philosophy:
Josephine’s teaching philosophy is based on a collaborative approach: by focusing on music her student wants to learn, the skills behind the music-making process are developed in a way tailored to her student’s goals. Lessons serve the intention to hone one’s craft, so for the musical study of creative expression, a co-created curriculum produces the most consistent framework for sustainable growth.
