About Joshua Harris

Joshua Harris is a dedicated brass instructor and music educator from Fayetteville, NC, with a passion for helping students unlock their musical potential. A graduate of East Carolina University with a degree in Music Education, Joshua studied under renowned tuba professor Tom McCaslin of the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, gaining invaluable insight into both performance and pedagogy.

Currently teaching at New Century International Middle School, Joshua has led his program to new heights—including earning the school's first-ever superior rating at the Carowinds Festival of Music. His approach combines high musical standards with a fun, supportive environment where students are encouraged to grow not just as musicians, but as confident, hard-working individuals.
