About Justin Parker
Get to know Justin Parker
I teach guitar, saxophone, mandolin, and sound engineering, and I’ve been playing music for over 20 years. I hold a diploma in Audio Engineering and Production, and I love helping students not only learn how to play music but also understand how it comes to life behind the scenes, too.
My lessons are fun, flexible, and tailored to each student’s goals. Whether you’re just starting or looking to level up, I focus on making music feel approachable, engaging, and rewarding. I teach rock, folk, jazz, and blues, always blending strong fundamentals with real musical expression.
On guitar and mandolin, we build rhythm, technique, and confidence from the ground up. On the saxophone, we focus on tone, breath, and finding your voice through the instrument. For students interested in recording, I also introduce basic sound engineering to connect playing with real-world production.
My goal is straightforward: to help students enjoy the process, build confidence, and develop their own unique sound. I want lessons to feel like a space where it’s okay to experiment, make mistakes, and grow at your own pace.
Alongside my main instruments, I also play electric bass, piano, percussion, and voice, which keeps my approach versatile and music-focused. Outside of teaching, I enjoy videography and photography, and I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Cinematography.
I also previously worked in sales and management at Music & Arts, where I helped students and families find the right fit and gained a strong understanding of music education from both sides of the experience.
