      Get to know Kara Zimmerman

I am a multi-instrumentalist with over 25 years of playing experience, and I graduated with an A.S. in music from Onondaga Community College in 2020. Since then, I have been offering both private and group music instruction to learners of all ages, from 3-year-olds to adults. While my primary instrument is the violin, my teaching experience spans general music, strings, piano, and flute. My goal is to share my passion for music and help students of all skill levels grow in their musical journeys, fostering both technical proficiency and a lifelong love for music.

As an educator, I firmly believe that everyone should have access to quality education, regardless of background or circumstance. My goal is to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment where all students can thrive. I strive to eliminate barriers to learning by adapting my teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of my students and promoting equitable opportunities for success. Education is a tool for empowerment, and I am committed to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to unlock their potential and achieve their goals.
