Performance Experience: During my 18 years based out of Chicago, I had the great fortune to play with many jazz/blues/soul bands and perform at top venues. I have shared the stage with artists such as Ray Charles and the Platters and have appeared twice on The Jenny Jones Show.
Teaching Experience: 25+ years teaching experience
Teaching Philosophy: I believe that music instruction should also include music education at its core. Therefore, in addition to teaching how to play an instrument I think it's very important to teach the related music theory (e.g. rhythm/ harmony). However, the most important thing is for it to be fun!
