About Ken Bussey

Ken Bussey teaches guitar, bass and banjo to students of all ages and skill levels. He prides himself on being a fun and experienced instructor. Ken helps his students learn their favorite songs, improvise over chord changes, write the next big hit, unlock the mystery of music theory, and most importantly learn how to enjoy practice time and play with confidence. His teaching style is relaxed, entertaining, and he makes sure students have a clear understanding of how to practice properly. Ken takes great pride in his work ethic, the study he has done to expand his teaching ability, and in staying current with today’s music styles.  Ken is a professional musician with over 20 years of teaching and performing experience. He began his teaching career at Music and Arts in 1996 and quickly became one of the busiest teachers. Ken has his BA in Music Performance Jazz Commercial Guitar from Towson University.
