      Get to know Ken Landon

      Ken has been Teaching guitar since studying music at the college level. He is an avid composer, dog lover and Guitar Teacher. He is an alumni of Berklee College of Music with an Associate Degree in Music and his Bachelor’s in Music Education. He’s also an alumni of the Full Sail Center for Recording Arts.

      He writes and records his own music, while running his own recording studio. His original recordings have been featured on DC 101 a Washington, D.C. FM station. He is laid back and congenial with a great deal of patience. He is proficient in all styles ranging from Blues, Rock and all other genres.

      He enjoys seeing his student’s progress and takes on complete beginner’s with the instrument to those with experience seeking to further their abilities to the next level of musicianship. He teaches “Music Reading”, Improvisation, Composing and teaching music theory to those who want to understand how to write and improvise like a professional. No matter what level you’re at now, if you are serious about your musicianship he will take your goals seriously and puts pride into his student’s progressing.
