About Larry James

Larry  has performed with Natalie Cole, The Temptations, The Four Tops, Martha Reeves and the Vandelas, Mel Torme and the North Carolina Symphony, Lauren Kennedy, Melva Houston, Bob Hope, and Artie Barsamian’s Boston Big Band.  Larry also has made many appearances with Leon Jordan’s Continentals, including over 500 performances during their 14 year run at the Radisson Research Triangle Park Hotel (Governor’s Inn) and a recurring gig at High Park in Raleigh. The band has played from Washington, DC to Savannah, GA, and Morehead City to the Grove Park Inn. Larry can also be heard in the soundtrack for the United Artists motion picture Once Around with Danny Aiello, Richard Dreyfuss and Holly Hunter, and has appeared on WRAL TV and WPTF radio.
