About Lawrence Clemens

Having played and taught the trumpet professionally for over 40 years, Mr. Clemens has a lot to offer.  His experience includes students ranging from middle school through college and beyond.  His focus is no mastering the techniques and  fundamentals to  help each person reach their maximum potential.   The higher one achieves , the greater their enjoyment and appreciation of music and  life.  These philosophies go well beyond he instrument and are fundamental to succeeding in life.  You have to work hard and put  the time in to become a good musician, and in life the  more you put into your  studies, the more you will get out of it and succeed.  I do not teach a  particular style  or genre of music (orchestral, jazz, etc), but rather teach the elements to perform any style of music at  a high level.  We do work on those styles as needed based on individual needs and demands.
