Leah Mitchell, a violinist from Ellicott City, Maryland, has been playing for over 15 years. She earned a minor in violin performance from the University of Maryland, College Park. Prior to her undergraduate education, she competed in solo and chamber competitions, with performances at the Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall. Beyond performing, she has taught at various after-school programs, including OrchKids, a music program dedicated to providing musical opportunities to children in Baltimore.
