      Performance Experience: Orchestral (symphonic/chamber), jazz (big band/combo), solost (Classical piano, double bass), wind ensemble, marching band, indoor percussion, church, contemporary, and more.
      Teaching Experience: Private bass lessons, Middle school orchestra, elementary general music.
      Teaching Philosophy: The student's area of interest dictates the main focus of the lesson content, and the only prequisite I have for all of my students is a good attitude and willingness to learn.

      Get to know Leo Gayosso

      Hello, my name is Leo Gayosso and I am excited to be joining Music and Art's team of music instructors! I just obtained my degree in music education from Winthrop University and will combine that knowledge with my diverse playing and teaching experiences to make sure I can tailor each lesson to the student's needs, interests, and goals. While my main area of study at Winthrop included string pedagogy and double bass, I continued studying piano under Dr. Manwarren and am equally passionate about both piano and bass.


      Outside of teaching lessons at Music and Arts, I also teach middle school orchestra and actively gig throughout the Rock Hill/Charlotte orchestra.
