Biography of Violin and Viola Instructor – Mariana Davidov
Mariana began playing violin at age of 7, studying in Novi Sad in the Republic of Serbia. While attending the High School for the Performing Arts, she won first place in a federal competition in Sarajevo (former Yugoslavia). Her playing was further enhanced at the Academy of Arts of Novi Sad.
After graduating and getting a master’s degree of Music, she started to teach violin and viola in an elementary school. At that time, she became a member of Vojvodina Symphony Orchestra where she cooperated with conductors from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden and Russia. Also, she was a member of Serbian National Theatre as an assistant viola leader where she was playing operas and ballets.

ASTA – American String Teacher Association
She has been teaching private violin and viola for more than 20 years. Combining Suzuki and Traditional method she select pieces that are tailored to the individual needs/abilities and musical preference to make learning enjoyable and engaging. Many of her students perform in school orchestra, All State Orchestra, FCHO, FCYO and churches. In her teaching style she emphasizes note reading, solid technic and beautiful tone. Mariana offers her knowledge, creativity and patience to the students to help them achieve their goals and maximize their potential.
