      Get to know Mark Stiles

      Mark Stiles is a violin, viola, cello, string bass, guitar, and ukulele teacher who works with children and adults from beginner to advanced levels. His lessons emphasize strong posture, technique, and musicality while creating an encouraging environment where students can grow with confidence. Mark teaches classical, jazz, fiddle, improvisation, music reading, and theory, helping students develop well-rounded musicianship while pursuing music they enjoy. Whether preparing for recitals, orchestra auditions, summer camps, school programs, or community ensembles, students receive personalized guidance and support. Mark holds degrees from Ithaca College and Syracuse University and taught orchestra in the Wake County Public School System for 25 years.
