Performance Experience: Matt has performed all over the country on saxophone and keyboards. Matt performs most frequently with Zach Nugent's Dead Set on keyboards but can be found performing as a solo saxophonist in various touring groups as well as within horn sections and more.
Teaching Experience: Matt has been teaching privately since 2014 where he began instructing the freshman jazz ensemble in college as well as private saxophone lessons.
Teaching Philosophy: Matt has a unique approach to teaching which starts with analyzing practice methods and a strategic, case by case, method for improvement.

Matt Dolliver is an avid local and touring musician offering lessons in saxophone, flute, piano, audio engineering, and jazz theory.
Matt is an active member of the VT music community performing frequently in Burlington and beyond with groups such as Into the Mystic, Swimmer, Brickdrop, & more.. He has experience in jazz saxophone, jazz piano, classical saxophone, as well as many other styles & techniques.
Graduating from Plymouth State University in 2016 with a degree in music performance & technology, Matt is a great candidate to help you get started or continue your musical journey.
