About Maya Imamovic

Maya is a dedicated and graduated violinist. She has her bachelor's degree in violin, with 19 years of experience as a violin teacher and pedagogue. Maya started playing violin at the age of 8 and has now been playing for 30 years. She started working with children when she turned 19 and continues on to this day! Maya studied and worked at the same time, as well as playing in an orchestra, and has developed a strong work ethic. With the students, She has achieved numerous prizes and recognition in International competitions. 

Maya has also achieved and received various certifications, awards and honors, some of them:

-Citizens Association of Music Educators of ZE-DO Canton, Chamber Symphony Orchestra, Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina, awarded of appreciation for contribution to affirmation, work and development of the Chamber Symphony Orchestra, 2004 and again 2009

-International Summer School "Uzmah", Brac, Croatia, in July 2008., diploma for masterclass, led by professor Violeta Smailovic Huart

-"The Art of Violin", Serbia, 2016., masterclass in violin led by professor Mr. Vladimir Markovic

-Competition of Pupils and Students of Music, Neum, BiH, violin quartet 1st.place, 2001

-International Festival of Music "Primavera", achieved 1st. place with student, 2018

-Young virtuoso , Belgrade, Serbia, 2018, 1st. place with student

-International competition for young violinists, Vinkovci, Croatia, 2019, 3 students with 3 prizes

-Certificate on passed professional exam for acquiring qualifications to work independently in education in the duties of THE VIOLIN TEACHER; Certificate is awarded by the Pedagogical Institute
