About Michael Miller

Mr. Miller was educated at Eastern Mennonite University with a BA in Music performance. It was there he studied piano with Dr. John Fast as well as performed with the Die Cantorei . Later ,he studied at Shepherd University and gained his licensure to teach music in grades K-12. Mr. Miller worked for Frederick County public schools where he retired in 2012. He was the band and orchestra director at the elementary level. Mr. Miller has run a private music studio for 15 years teaching piano as well as other instruments including strings. He is also the Author of a newly released book entitled, “Bowster O’dor, the farting violinist”. He has another book soon to be released in early Spring 2021. Mr. Miller enjoys working with both children and adults.
