Hello Future Musicians!

My name is Nancy White. I am so happy to be teaching at Music & Arts!

I have been teaching private piano since 1998. My teaching style is fun, flexible, and fulfilling. I will teach you how to read music, how to perform, and how to improvise. After you learn to read your notes, you will get to play the songs you love!

Who can learn to play music? Everyone! Adults and children!

My educational background is Music, of course. I studied piano privately. I had three exceptional teachers. My first teacher taught me how to read music. My second teacher taught me theory, arranging, popular music, and classical repertoire. My third teacher taught me graduate level interpretation of Classical Music.

I also have 33 credits of Master’s Level Clinical Psychology. I was planning to be a Motivational Psychologist, but switched to music. That means that I will be able to recognize your unique learning style and know how to motivate you!
