Get to know Peter O'Neill
Tri-State area first call bassist and guitar teacher Pete O'Neill has performed and toured internationally, playing with the likes of Charlie Crockett and the Wooten Brothers, and his bands have shared the stage with legendary artists such as James Brown and The Allman Brothers. Pete has taught bass, guitar, and ukulele in the New York City metro region for the last 15 years. He has studied with legendary bassists Victor Wooten, Felix Pastorius, Matthew Garrison, and Dominique Di Piazza, and he has toured extensively with bands of all genres and styles in the United States, Canada, and France. Pete's basslines have been featured in national ad campaigns, he's appeared on Pix11 News, Fox, and in The New York Times, and he is regularly featured in such online magazines as No Treble, For Bass Players Only, and Bass Musician Magazine.
