Get to know Ricardo Castillo
I began playing the guitar at 9 years old and have continued my journey through the course of
45 yrs of this stringed instrument. Soon after, I began formal classical guitar studies with Chris
Mcquire and Dan Hodan, Flamenco guitar studies with Juan Serrano at Fresno state University
and Manolo Franco in Cordoba, Spain. I have performed both domestically and abroad as
accompanist and soloist. I am very passionate about performing and teaching. Music is a
language everyone can understand. Allow me to nurture your talent, passion, and desire for a
blissful guitar life.
