      Get to know Ri¢h Guinto

I'm an accomplished pianist and vocalist for over 40 years.   I was raised in a musical family, and I began learning piano at 5 years old.  I continue to grow and enjoy music of all styles and genres (Rock, Jazz, Gospel, Country, R & B, Indie.. eclectic is my middle name).

I studied music at James Madison University for 4 years, specializing in Vocal Performance, Music Education and Keyboard Proficiency.

I've led or participated in numerous teams of musicians and choirs even internationally, in churches as well as community events & concerts. I had the honor of singing with the Virginia Symphony Chorus and numerous Honors Choirs, and also accompanied various school concerts on piano for my daughters, who are now both grown.

I enjoy seeing students connect with learning, of all ages, especially when they're younger.   Playing and singing music lights the brain and the soul on fire  like nothing else!

I look forward to teaching your student the joys of music. ❤
