Teaching Philosophy: My teaching philosophy is that studio instruction in piano are lessons in music and music appreciation with application on the keyboard/piano. Repertoire is a large part of my curriculum, but the understanding of the actual process of making music come to life is a joy like none other. I often insert an appropriate anecdote from music history or my own personal life during the lessons, which my students enjoy.
