About Rodrigo Baltazar

Originally from the western slope of Colorado, Rodrigo Baltazar is a recent graduate and dedicated music educator from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. At the university, he studied saxophone performance under Dr. Roman and received instruction in flute and clarinet from local professionals. During his time there, Rodrigo was actively involved in the saxophone ensemble, flute ensemble, saxophone quartet, jazz combo, and served as the lead alto in the university jazz band. He also participated in various groups outside of school, including the Latin orchestra La Orquesta Cheveré and several wedding bands.

In addition to his music education, Rodrigo gained post-graduate experience as a 2nd grade teacher while in Milwaukee. With over two years of experience teaching private music lessons and a background in both jazz and classical music styles, Rodrigo is now eager to continue his music education journey back in Colorado.
