About Ryan Buell

Ryan Buell is a guitar, bass, and ukulele teacher who works with students of all levels, creating highly personalized lessons built around the music they love. Students are encouraged to choose the songs they want to learn, using those interests as a foundation for developing technique, music theory, ear training, improvisation, and effective practice habits. Ryan teaches a wide variety of styles, including rock, metal, R&B, emo, grunge, post-rock, jazz, and classical music, adapting each lesson to the student’s goals and passions. He believes that enjoying music is the key to long-term success and works to help every student discover their own musical voice. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Guitar Performance with minors in Recording Technology, Classical Guitar, Bass, and Jazz Piano, and brings over 20 years of teaching experience to his students.
