Teaching Philosophy:
I believe first of all in establishing a solid technique on the instrument. Without this the student will not be able to achieve their goals as an instrumentalist. My approach to instruction always starts from where the student is at and then steers them in the direction that I believe will best help them to achieve their goals.

Get to know Sian Battenfield
Sian is a native of the United Kingdom who has lived both sides of the Atlantic over the course of her career. She moved to Colorado five years ago and currently works as the orchestra teacher and lower elementary general music teacher at a charter school in Lone Tree. Prior to school teaching, she worked both as an instrumental teacher and professional harpist. She is a graduate of the Juilliard School in New York and The Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Sian loves helping student to become confident and successful instrumentalists. She has worked at Music and Arts in Lone Tree for the last two years.
