About Sophie Perry

Sophie's experience as a performer stretches back to her youth. As a vocalist from childhood and a guitar player since the age of twelve, she has utilized these talents in a variety of solo performances and ensembles (including Wilmington's own Wilmington Girls Choir). After completing a Bachelor of Arts in Music Business at Catawba College, she spent a number of years in Virginia and Indiana where she played in duo act Wood & Hart and in 2013 was a finalist in the 2013 Sea Level Singer/Songwriter Festival in Virginia Beach. Now that she has returned to the Wilmington area, she looks forward to reintegrating into the music scene and (of course) educating the next generation of musicians. When she is not making music, she enjoys acting, reading, and spending time with her family.
