About Spencer Carlson

Spencer Carlson is a guitar teacher who works with beginner to advanced students, helping them develop strong technical skills while encouraging creativity and personal expression. His lessons cover technique, improvisation, ear training, songwriting, and effective practice habits, giving students the tools they need to become confident and versatile musicians. Spencer’s musical background spans rock, blues, jazz, and many other styles, and he tailors lessons to each student’s interests and goals. He believes music should be both fun and meaningful, inspiring students to find their own voice through the guitar. Spencer holds a Bachelor of Music in Performance from Berklee College of Music and encourages students to gain real-world experience through performances, open mics, and live music opportunities.
