Teaching Experience: I have been teaching piano since 2019 after graduating from the University of California San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts in Music. I have experience teaching students from age 5-adult. I have taught using the Piano Adventure series, as well as a variety of other materials and programs which I tailor to each student's needs.
Teaching Philosophy: I believe learning music should be enjoyable and exciting above all. I teach classical, pop, jazz, as well as music theory fundamentals and composition. Disney songs are especially a favorite. I believe daily practice outside of lessons is the key to success, even if it's 10 minutes per day. We'll discuss your goals and what brought you to want to learn piano. The possibilities for learning and performing are endless! Above all, I aspire for my students to thrive in their musical journey.
