      Get to know Stephen Peters

      Stephen Peters is a guitar, bass, piano, ukulele, drum kit, composition, and electronic music teacher who creates flexible, engaging lessons centered around each student’s interests and goals. He teaches beginner to advanced guitar as well as beginner to intermediate bass, piano, ukulele, drums, and music production, blending technique with creativity through improvisation, songwriting, music theory, and recording projects. Stephen teaches a wide variety of styles including rock, pop, folk, classical, metal, progressive, electronic, and beginner jazz while encouraging students to explore the music they love. His lessons focus on building confidence, creativity, and long-term musical growth in a supportive environment. Stephen studied classical guitar at the Crane School of Music and has over 10 years of teaching experience in both private lessons and public school music programs.
